Limbcare Scuba Rehab Trip & Course

How Scuba Diving Helped Me

I’ve been mad busy behind the scenes just recently, you may have read my post how scuba diving helped me  and my follow up post scuba diving rehab trip to Spain. Now that I’m coming to the end of defeating the tropical bug I picked up back in 2015 it’s time for me to start my own fitness rehab again.

You can read the post Santa Pola scuba trip  which is open to anyone who wants to join me and a couple of scuba friends and do some fun diving. However after lots of conversations with them I’m now posting to say there is a major change to the main dive plan.

Learning to Scuba Dive 2007

Scuba diving has done so much for me I want other amputees to experience the same benefits as I have, to this extent my goal now is to raise funds and take 4 amputees that are adjusting to their new way of life, over to Spain so they can learn how to dive too.

You may or may not know I am would you believe a regional ambassador for Limbcare. I’ve had a number of chats with Ray Edwards the guy who started and still runs Limbcare about this scuba rehab trip and he and Limbcare team are fully supporting it.

So with a slight change of plan the scuba trip I’m planning will be focused on taking 4 amputees to Spain this year and getting them trained to PADI open water diver level, the fun diving is still available just drop me a line and I’ll send you some extra info out.

Now for the hard part, I’ve never liked asking people to sponsor me or donated to anything I’ve done for charity but this trip will cost approximately £4’000 so here goes, I need your help to make this trip happen it’s as simple as that.

My web guy Jeff has set up a donation thingy / button (you can tell I’m not the techy type can’t you) so here it is ‘can you help make this trip happen with a small £2 donation please

If you can help then please use the form below.
